What is MoSilver?
MoSilver is Modak’s premium subscription designed for families who want additional tools to help manage and teach their child’s finances. In addition to all the core banking features included with MoBasic, MoSilver includes access to features such as chore management, allowances, savings goals, enhanced parental controls, enhanced spending analytics, premium card designs, and the ability to invite a co-parent.
MoSilver is available for $2.99 per month.

MoGold is Modak’s highest subscription plan and includes all the features available in MoSilver, plus additional premium rewards and benefits. MoGold members receive benefits such as 2% cashback on eligible youth debit card purchases, a 4% Savings Boost on qualifying balances, reimbursement of eligible instant funding fees, and discounted expedited card shipping.

The 4% boost is applied to:
- Funds held in teen savings goals.
- Funds held in the parent’s balance.

Any applicable earning limits, exclusions, or promotional restrictions are described in the applicable Rewards Terms and Conditions and may be updated from time to time with appropriate notice.

MoGold includes reimbursement or waiver of eligible instant funding fees up to $25 per calendar month, subject to the applicable program terms.

Yes. MoGold and MoSilver members can request a parent physical card at no additional cost. Outside of a MoGold or MoSilver subscription, the parent physical card costs $5.

Yes. The subscription can be canceled at any time. Benefits remain active until the end of the current billing cycle.

Upon cancellation:
- Cashback and savings boosts will no longer accrue.
- Fee waivers and free card benefits will no longer apply.
- Access to premium perks continues until the end of the billing period.
Do all family members need a subscription?
No. The subscription is associated with the parent account holder. Eligible subscription benefits apply to the parent account and eligible child accounts within that family group.

Credits are generally applied on a monthly basis, during the first 5 days of the month.

MoBasic is Modak’s free subscription and includes core banking features such as debit cards, account funding, transaction history, alerts, and MBX rewards.
MoSilver includes all MoBasic features plus additional family management tools, including chores, allowances, savings goals, enhanced parental controls, enhanced spending analytics, premium card designs, and co-parent invitations.
MoGold includes everything in MoSilver, plus premium rewards and benefits such as cashback on eligible purchases, Savings Boost rewards, instant funding fee reimbursement, and additional premium benefits.

Customers are charged when they enroll in one of the premium subscriptions. Subscription fees renew automatically each billing period unless canceled before the next renewal date.
Read this on its own page →What happens if I upgrade from MoSilver to MoGold?
If a customer upgrades during an active billing cycle, access to MoGold benefits begins immediately. Billing for the upgraded subscription will occur in accordance with the subscription terms presented during the upgrade process.

If a customer downgrades or cancels a subscription, the current subscription benefits remain available until the end of the current billing period. The new subscription level becomes effective at the next renewal date.

Yes. Eligible customers may upgrade or downgrade their subscription at any time through the Modak app. Billing and effective dates are disclosed before changes are confirmed.
Read this on its own page →Will I lose my money or bank account if I cancel MoGold or MoSilver?
No. Canceling a subscription does not close your Modak account. Your account remains open, and you will continue to have access to the features included with your applicable subscription plan.

Yes. From time to time, Modak may offer opportunities to earn or receive a complimentary MoSilver or MoGold subscription through eligible promotional programs. For example, customers may qualify by participating in an eligible referral program or by receiving qualifying direct deposits totaling $225 or more into a Child Account during a calendar month, subject to the applicable promotion terms.
